Environmental Compliance Services of North Carolina, PC is seeking an Environmental Engineer for the Charlotte, NC office with 4-6 years of experience in environmental consulting with a BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering who either is, or can become in the near future, a registered PE (in NC/SC/VA/GA).

A successful candidate will have some experience in a few of the following areas:
? Environmental assessment and remediation with field experience, project management experience, and data analysis/report writing with excellent writing skills.
? Experience in septic system design/permitting using soil permeability data
? Civil engineering with geotechnical experience in foundation/load design, soil suitability and compaction, concrete design and testing, asphalt design and testing.
? Experience with industrial environmental regulatory compliance (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, Clean Water Act, Community right-to-Know Planning, Emergency Planning, etc.)
? Permit preparation and submittal for Stormwater, SPCC, Air , NPDES [direct discharge], pre-treatment agreements [indirect discharge],etc.
? Industrial wastewater design, permitting, trouble-shooting

The job includes performing field activities (including those listed above) with some data presentation development and draft report development associated with environmental assessment and remediation projects.
